UAAR Introduction:
According to the recommendations of the Barani Commission, the Punjab government established Barani Agricultural College, Rawalpindi, which was later upgraded to the university level in 1994.
The university’s mandate is to produce high-quality agricultural scientists and to form an organized organization. Scientific infrastructure for teaching and research for the development of arid areas of the country, thus minimizing the income gap between rich and poor and irrigated and barren areas.
Since its inception, UAAR has experienced significant growth and is offering undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in various fields. The university building includes an auditorium, a multi-story administrative block, a library, a museum, and four multi-story educational blocks.
Achieving excellence on the university campus is the work of a capable and dedicated university faculty. Therefore, the University of Agricultural Agriculture has made continuous efforts for staff development, as a result of which about 46% of the faculty have Ph.D. Degrees, while others have M.Sc. (Hons) and M.Phil degrees.
